A New York steakhouse that brought in new workers while its servers and bartenders were on strike committed unfair labor practices, the D.C. Circuit affirmed May 20.
Thirty-six of Sparks Restaurant’s workers went on strike at the end of 2014 when bargaining discussions weren’t progressing after a year and a half. The restaurant brought on new workers to replace them during the 9-day strike.
