New York Japanese Restaurant Chain Agrees to Pay $765,000 in Back Wages

NEW YORK—A chain of five Japanese restaurants in the Long Island suburbs of New York has agreed to pay $764,797 to 161 workers to settle a Labor Department Wage and Hour Division lawsuit alleging minimum wage, overtime, and recordkeeping violations, DOL announced Feb. 29 (Solis v. Ta-Yeh Rest. Inc.).
