Employers hiring in New York will have to list a pay range in their job ads, under legislation Gov. Kathy Hochul signed into law.
The measure, S9427, applies to all employers with four or more workers when they’re hiring for jobs to be performed at least partly within the state. Those job ads must include an amount or range with minimum and maximum annual salary or hourly wage.
