A now-defunct New York cleaning company is liable for $1.1 million for violating employment verification laws and for hiring undocumented immigrants.
Imacuclean Cleaning Services LLC either failed to complete an I-9 employment verification form or improperly completed one for 655 employees, a Justice Department administrative law judge found in a Sept. 11 decision released last week.
