New Work Suits: Amazon, Urban Outfitters Accused of Age Bias

Amazon laid off an account specialist because of her age, and Urban Outfitters tolerated ageist attacks against an apparel sourcing expert of Chinese descent, according to two separate lawsuits the workers filed in federal courts.

They are among about 375 new labor and employment cases filed April 7-13, an uptick from 350 the previous week.
