New Labor Board Chairman Welcomed With Conflict Allegation (1)

New National Labor Relations Board Chairman John Ring (R) is already facing conflict-of-interest questions in his first week on the board.

A painters union lawyer wants Ring to sit out a case involving Boeing because his former law firm, Morgan Lewis, represented the company in a number of other matters before he was confirmed as a board member. David Rosenfeld, a lawyer for the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, said Morgan Lewis also represents the aerospace company in at least one other case that’s currently before the board.
