New Jersey Contractor Fined for Violations Must Retain Safety Consultant for Project

PHILADELPHIA—A New Jersey construction contractor will have to pay penalties of $162,150 and comply with federal safety rules requiring fall protection for workers, under terms of a consent order and injunction filed in federal district court in Trenton, N.J., Aug. 29 (Solis v. Sousa General Contractors Inc.).
