Wages for H-1B Jobs Revised Again Under New DOL Final Rule (2)

The U.S. Labor Department has released, for the second time, new wage requirements for H-1B specialty occupation visa holders and employment-based green card applicants.

The final rule, unveiled Tuesday, will once again change prevailing wage rates for H-1B and other visa categories, but the department chose to do so through a phased-in approach after receiving public comments in response to the prevailing wage interim final rule it issued in October 2020.
