The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s top priorities will include an increased focus on eliminating systemic barriers to employment, according to its newly adopted strategic plan.
The EEOC announced the immediate implementation of its strategic plan for 2022-2026 on Tuesday.
The commission in November released a draft of the plan, which required a vote before implementation. Kalpana Kotagal was recently sworn in as the EEOC’s fifth commissioner, giving the agency a Democratic majority in panel votes, after an extended period of partisan deadlock.
