A Nevada commercial painting firm will pay $3.68 million to settle a US Department of Labor case over unpaid overtime and other Federal Labor Standards Act violations.
Unforgettable Coatings Inc. agreed to pay more than $1.8 million in unpaid overtime to its largely immigrant employees, an equal amount in liquidated damages, and interest and civil penalties as part of a proposed consent judgment entered Jan. 13 in the US District Court for the District of Nevada.
