Nebraska nurses who say they were underpaid for on-call work won conditional class certification from a federal judge who found they submitted sufficient evidence to show their employer’s written compensation policy wasn’t followed.
Nurses at Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in Lincoln say they were subject to an on-call policy that required them to be available for work at times other than their regularly scheduled shifts, and that they had to respond to calls, texts, and emails remotely.
