Nebraska Boosts Maternity Leave for State Workers

Nebraska state workers will receive expanded maternity-leave benefits under a leave-donation program announced by Gov. Pete Ricketts (R).

The program allows workers who have accrued a large amount of paid leave to donate their time to co-workers who would otherwise have to go without pay while taking their guaranteed maternity leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act.
