NaviHealth Reaches $4.7 Million Overtime Deal with Employees

NaviHealth Inc. has agreed to pay nearly $4.7 million to resolve proposed overtime claims brought by nearly 1,200 care management employees under the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act and Fair Labor Standards Act.

The proposed deal allocates about $3 million to potential class and collective members, according to the joint motion for preliminary settlement approval submitted May 8 to Judge Waverly D. Crenshaw Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.

The parties also asked the court to certify a PMWA class comprising nearly 170 employees, and an FLSA collective, which currently has more than 1,000 opt-ins ...
