Nasdaq Trade Secrets Suit Against Rival Exchange Heads to Jury

Miami International Holdings Inc., a global exchange operator, must face a jury trial in a lawsuit by Nasdaq Inc. over alleged trade secret theft to create trading platforms and obtain a patent.

Judge Zahid N. Quraishi denied both parties’ motions for pre-trial wins in an order docketed Monday in the US District Court for the District of New Jersey. The court filed an accompanying opinion under temporary seal to allow the companies to propose redactions.
