NASA Security Contractor’s Firing of Officer Violated Labor Law

A NASA security contractor violated federal labor law when it suspended an officer, threatened him with a criminal probe, and later fired him for repeatedly complaining about his working conditions to management, a federal appeals court ruled.

The US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit on Tuesday upheld a National Labor Relations Board decision holding that Security Walls LLC illegally retaliated against officer Randall Kelley, who worked at NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans.
