Napolitano Says DHS Has Made Smart, Effective Immigration Enforcement Changes

The Department of Homeland Security has made “real change with real results” to the nation’s immigration enforcement, including “engaging in worksite enforcement rather than worksite raids,” DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano said Oct. 5.

“We have undertaken a historic effort to secure the border and enforce our immigration laws in a cohesive way that is smart, effective, and that maximizes the resources that Congress has given us to do this job,” she said.
