Morgan Stanley, Advisers’ Wage Deal Back in Place After Appeal

Morgan Stanley and financial advisers who say it violated California wage laws are back on track to end their dispute for more than $10 million after a federal district judge took another look at the settlement following an appeal.

Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC and a group of nearly 3,300 California workers convinced Judge William H. Orrick of the US District Court for the Northern District of California to reaffirm his findings granting an earlier final approval motion, which the Ninth Circuit displaced last year.
