MLB Network Hit With Wrongful Termination Suit Over Paid Leave

The MLB Network is facing a suit in the District of New Jersey by an employee who alleged she was fired for contesting the network’s denial of her request for paid sick leave.

Plaintiff Meredith Greene was employed by the network as a makeup artist for on-air guests at its Secaucus, N.J., headquarters.

In August 2017, Greene moved to Florida but continued to work for the network, commuting to New Jersey as needed with full knowledge of her employer, according to the complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
