Minnesota Construction Company Fined Again for Trenching Hazards

OSHA has proposed $1.8 million in penalties to Wagner Construction Inc. and issued citations alleging 16 repeat violations and one serious violation, the Labor Department said Tuesday.

While replacing a residential water main and 20 curb stop valves for house connections in Minot, N.D., Occupational Safety and Health Administration inspectors found the contractor exposed workers to trenching hazards at its work sites, including unprotected trenches, according to the DOL.
