Michigan Cops Opposed to Diversity Lose Retaliation Suits Again

Michigan State Police‘s wins in two retaliation suits brought by current and former officers were upheld by the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit Tuesday.

Fired inspector Robert Hahn, demoted captain Michael Caldwell, and lieutenant Michael McCormick, all White males, failed to show MSP’s reasoning for the employment decisions it took in regards to them were in retaliation for their opposition to its diversity initiatives, the court said.
