MetLife Handed Court Order to Give Regulators Pension Documents

A federal district court judge in New York has compelled MetLife Inc. to comply with a US Labor Department subpoena requesting records about the insurance company’s pension de-risking business.

US District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Paul G. Gardephe issued the brief order Tuesday in a two-year case MetLife has litigated to keep its records out of the department’s hands.
