Meta Sued by Muslim Worker for Suppressing His Gaza Solidarity

Meta Platforms Inc. forced a Muslim worker to choose between keeping his job and his religious solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza, according to a lawsuit filed against the tech company on Tuesday.

Facebook’s corporate parent reprimanded the Muslim worker for his visible support of Palestine, but it allowed non-Muslim employees to “express support and sympathy for Jewish victims and other global crises without censorship,” the complaint filed in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas said.
