A medical group practice in Colorado will pay five doctors $1.2 million to settle National Labor Relations Board charges that it fired them in violation of their organizing rights.
Peak Vista Community Health Centers faced allegations that it axed the doctors for objecting to a new requirement that they work more hours without pay, and for their role in a union organizing campaign, the NLRB announced Monday.
The payout covers back pay for the doctors fired in 2024, as well as front pay in lieu of reinstatement.
