Maya Raghu Joins Federal Contractor Anti-Discrimination Agency

Civil rights attorney Maya Raghu has been hired at the U.S. Labor Department’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs as the agency’s top policy official.

  • Raghu previously was director of workplace equality and senior counsel at the National Women’s Law Center, where she focused on equal pay initiatives and other worker-focused policy goals.
  • The agency announced Tuesday that Raghu will serve as its deputy director of policy, and report to OFCCP director Jenny Yang. The OFCCP audits federal contractors for compliance with federal anti-discrimination laws and affirmative action obligations.
