Maryland Governor Larry Hogan (R) and some staffmembers beat free speech retaliation and wrongful discharge claims brought by a former director who was terminated after he posted memes in support of Kyle Rittenhouse on Facebook, after a ruling by a federal court in Maryland.

Arthur Love IV led Hogan’s field operations during his first gubernatorial campaign and was appointed as the Deputy Director of Community Initiatives in 2015, according to the complaint.
