Marketers Who Worked With Kroger Get $1.5 Million Wage Deal OK’d

A $1.57 million settlement between P.L. Marketing Inc. and more than 200 merchandising employees who worked in Kroger stores and sued for overtime under the FLSA and Ohio and Kentucky law won final approval from a federal court in Tennessee.

The members of the state-law classes and Fair Labor Standards Act collective will split about $967,000 after certain deductions. Class counsel will receive $525,000 in attorneys’ fees plus $26,000 for advanced costs paid to a data expert and $15,000 for other ligation costs and expenses.
