Male Technician’s Bias Suit Against Hospital Heading to Trial

The EEOC’s lawsuit alleging an Arkansas hospital discriminated against a former surgical technician based on his sex will proceed after a judge denied the hospital’s request for summary judgment.

There are genuine issues of material fact regarding why Northwest Arkansas Hospitals, LLC allowed two doctors to exclude the former technician, Efrin Chavez, from their delivery rooms, US District Court for the Western District of Arkansas Judge Timothy Brooks said Thursday.
