Lockheed Martin Worker Mostly Advances Overtime, Breaks Lawsuit

A former Lockheed Martin Corp. worker seeking unpaid wages under California law can pursue most of his proposed class claims, but his expense reimbursement allegations need more factual support, a federal judge said.

The ex-aeronautics worker sufficiently alleged that the defense contractor required off-the-clock work, so the minimum wage and overtime claims can go forward, the US District Court for the Central District of California said. He also provided enough detail to advance claims that the company regularly interrupted workers’ meal and rest breaks, the Tuesday order said.
