Lockheed Accused of Service-Dog Bias by Software Engineer (1)

Lockheed Martin Corp. co-workers mocked a Navy war veteran’s use of a service dog for help with his post-traumatic stress disorder and the company “turned a blind eye” when he complained, a lawsuit filed in federal court in Dallas alleges.

Emmanuel Bernadin says he also faced retaliation for his repeated complaints, including to Lockheed’s ethics department, which told him they couldn’t do anything to end the harassment. The retaliation included being told he’d been “administratively terminated” when he tried to return from leave he took after the harassment triggered his PTSD, Bernadin says.
