Three former union officers of an American Federation of Government Employees affiliate failed to revive their lawsuit challenging AFGE’s imposition of a trusteeship on their affiliate and the officers’ removal from their positions.
A federal district judge properly threw out Eleanor Lauderdale and Kevin McCarron’s claims against the union, the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia ruled Tuesday. The appeals court rejected Alexander Bastani’s challenge to omission of evidence at a jury trial that he lost.
