Littler Makes New Nashville Hire Firm’s First General Counsel

Littler hired Maralee “Marti” Downey in Nashville, where she will serve as chief legal officer and general counsel, the firm announced Monday.

Downey in a new role for the firm will lead Littler’s legal strategy and provide counsel to firm leadership, overseeing responsibilities including guiding legal strategy, managing risk, and overseeing compliance. She joins from Brookdale Senior Living, where she focused on labor and employment issues.
