The DOL’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs found that in 2015 through 2017, Sunnyvale, Calif.-based LinkedIn paid women working in their engineering, product, and marketing departments “at a statistically significant lower rate than their male counterparts,” according to a conciliation agreement made public Monday.
The $1.8 million settlement accounts for back pay and interest for class members, who consist of women who worked in those three departments in San Francisco and Sunnyvale. ...
