Lincoln Financial, Ex-Recruiter Settle Age, Disability Bias Suit

Lincoln Financial Group and a former sales recruiter who claimed he was fired because he was 50 years old, had prostate cancer, and sought medical leave settled his lawsuit, federal court records in Pennsylvania show.

The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania entered an order Thursday dismissing Louis Hanna’s May 2019 lawsuit against the insurance and investment management giant.

That came after the parties notified the court in a status report filed Wednesday that they had settled the dispute.
