OSHA’s early proposal to expand its Process Safety Management program may create burdens for companies without a meaningful safety or security boost, small business entity representatives told the agency in a recent review proceeding.
The final report issued by the Small Business Advocacy Review Panel, set up to examine the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s PSM update, outlined a litany of complaints from companies that already face or could see new regulation under the standard.
