Liberty Oilfield Services Face EEOC Lawsuit for Race Harassment

Liberty Energy, Inc. doing business as Liberty Oilfield Services LLC, faces a lawsuit for allegedly subjecting workers to race and national origin discrimination at a facility in Odessa, Texas, according to the EEOC Friday.

The company allegedly subjected one Black and two Hispanic workers to verbal abuse, including use of the N-word and other slurs such as “beaner” and “wetback.” Though the employees reported the discrimination to human resources and management, allegedly no action was taken to correct the behavior, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said.
