Leprino Foods, Workers Nab Final Nod for $3.5 Million Wage Deal

Leprino Foods Co. and workers who say the company didn’t follow wage-and-hour rules won final approval for a $3.5 million settlement after a federal judge turned aside one former employee’s objections to the deal.

The settlement provides more than 3,400 current and former Leprino and Leprino Foods Dairy Products Co. workers an average of nearly $345 each, the US District Court for the Eastern District of California said.
