Kira (US) Inc. was granted a temporary restraining order barring its former vice president of global product sales from working for legal machine learning software competitor DeepJudge AG.
Kira demonstrated a likelihood of success on the merits of its claims that Kennan Samman breached his noncompete agreement and that it will suffer irreparable harm absent a restraining order, the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia ruled July 21.
