Riot Games Inc. has been accused of fostering a “bro culture” that denies women equal pay, stifles their promotions, and subjects them to sexual harassment.
Melanie McCracken and Jessica Negron—a current and former employee, respectively, of the video game developer that created the “League of Legends” multiplayer online arena—seek to represent a class of female workers in California who they say have been subjected to sex discrimination in violation of state law.
The class could be “in the hundreds,” the women’s attorney Tyler Vanderpool told Bloomberg Law.
