Four companies, including 3M Co., have begun offering their workers discounts on solar panels as an employee benefit.
The Maplewood, Minn.-based manufacturer is offering the discount as a means of helping workers move toward energy sustainability, Keith Miller, strategic adviser for global sustainability at 3M, told Bloomberg BNA Oct. 23. Workers can also get discounts on installation of the panels, he said.
