Las Vegas Hotels Face New Strike Threat as Union Talks Stall

Nearly 8,000 Las Vegas hospitality workers are set to walk off the job next month unless labor leaders can reach contract deals with 21 hotels and casinos on the strip and in downtown Las Vegas.

The Culinary Workers Union Local 226 said Monday that if they can’t settle on new agreements by Feb. 2 then 7,700 workers would go on strike. The locations impacted include the Hilton Grand Vacations, Trump Hotel Las Vegas, and Circus Circus.
