Laid Off, Older IBM Hybrid Cloud Salesman Drops Age Bias Suit

IBM and a former sales employee in its Hybrid Cloud unit have agreed to end his lawsuit alleging he was illegally laid off because he was 59 years old, Texas federal court records show.

The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas was informed of the apparent settlement between Jonathan Langley and International Business Machines Corp. in a joint stipulation filed Tuesday. Stipulated dismissals don’t require court approval and are automatically effective, Judge David A. Ezra said Wednesday in an order closing the case.
