Labor Secretary Marty Walsh will officially step down from his position March 11, he told Bloomberg Law in an interview Thursday.
Deputy Secretary Julie Su will take over as acting leader of the US Labor Department shortly after his exit Saturday.
- Walsh is leaving the Biden administration for an executive director position at the NHL Players Association.
- DOL’s No.2 leader, Su, has been nominated by the president as his replacement.
