The Biden administration has filled a top vacancy within the Labor Department office in charge of shoring up the unemployment insurance system.
DOL hired
Stettner, who most recently worked as director of workforce policy and a senior fellow at The Century Foundation, officially started work Monday.
“I’m honored to carry on the historic work the Labor Department has begun to modernize unemployment insurance and deliver benefits in a timely, equitable and accurate manner,” Stettner said.
