The Trump administration is seeking federal appeals court intervention to allow the US Labor Department to continue shutting down the Job Corps training program.
The agency filed an appeal Sept. 19 to the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, requesting that it reverse a preliminary injunction that reinstated the program earlier this summer.
