Labor Department Administrative Review Board Gets 3 New Members

The Labor Department’s Administrative Review Board is getting new members after nearly five months with just one.

William Thomas Barto, James A. Haynes, and Daniel T. Gresh were chosen to fill the board vacancies for two-year terms, the Labor Department announced Jan. 8. Barto will serve as the board’s chairman, the DOL said.

With the new members, the board can return to its work, which is largely hearing appeals decisions by DOL administrative law judges and the department’s Wage and Hour Division. The last time the board issued a ruling was back in July. Leonard Howie had been the board’s ...
