Labor Board’s New Joint Employer Rule Set for August Release

The National Labor Relations Board plans to complete its regulation governing how to determine when multiple companies jointly employ workers for purposes of federal labor law by August, the agency told a federal district court in Washington.

The NLRB is in the process of reviewing the 13,000 public comments it received on its joint employer proposal and drafting a final rule, according to a motion filed Monday with the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
