A federal judge in Texas struck down the National Labor Relations Board’s rule broadening the legal test for determining when multiple companies jointly employ workers and thus share liability and obligations under federal labor law.
The joint employer regulation, which was set to take effect March 11, expanded the types of control over job terms and conditions that can trigger a joint employer finding. Judge J.
