Labor Board Reverses T-Mobile Email Decision in Mixed Ruling (1)

T-Mobile US Inc. unlawfully disciplined a worker for sending a union-related email, the National Labor Relations Board said Friday in a decision that reversed its earlier stance yet delivered good news for business advocates.

A three-member NLRB panel—made up of two Republican members, Marvin Kaplan and John Ring, and one Democratic member, David Prouty—found the telecommunications company had broken labor law by “selectively and disparately” wielding company policies to silence a pro-union worker.
