The National Labor Relations Board refused to reconsider its standard for making parties’ notes from contract bargaining generally exempt from disclosure under federal labor law.
The NLRB’s divided decision Monday declined to second guess a 2021 ruling that dismissed an allegation that Stericycle Inc. unlawfully refused to turn over bargaining notes to an affiliate of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
Chair James Murphy and member Scott Mayer, appointed by the second Trump administration, preserved a standard set by a pair of GOP members appointed by the first Trump administration.
