Labor Board Doubles Down on Cemex Ruling Over Company Objections

The National Labor Relations Board shot down a request by a West Coast cement company to reconsider its landmark Cemex ruling, reaffirming the bargaining orders and the change in legal standards.

Cemex Construction Materials Pacific LLC asked the board to revisit its August ruling and reverse several key components of the new precedent. The NLRB denied the request Monday, saying the company failed to present new arguments.
